Modernform X Pomme Chan created the exclusive “Floral Collection: Love Blooms from Within” to spread love and joy on the Valentine’s Day

 

Modernform Group Plc, Thailand’s leading furniture designer who understands lifestyle wishes, is collaborating with Pomme Chan or Tachamapan Chanchamrassang, the renowned Thai artist and illustrator who has established herself at the world’s art scene through her unique illustration work with several global brands, to create the “Floral Collection: Love Blooms From Within.,” The collection gives birth to a new definition of “flower,” as it represents a range of sentiments felt through her intriguing and enchanting patterns and colors featured on home decoration items ready to fill our homes with love.

 

Kitipat Nerngchamnong, Modernform Group Plc’s CEO and President, revealed that this collaboration marks Modernform’s commitment to invoke happiness in every day’s living. “We are ready to embrace new ways of living and to satisfy our customers in the best way we can.” This collaboration, he underlined, represents Modernform’s plan to offer novelty that is closely connected with today’s lifestyles in different dimensions. “On this occasion, we introduce art into home decoration items to make everyone’s homes alive and joyful everyday.”

 

According to Kitipat, the Modernform x Pomme Chan collaboration is Modernform’s first collaboration project of this year. “We are very pleased to work with Khun Pomme. Known for her artistic illustrations and designs, Pomme Chan has already collaborated with a long list of global brands where she transforms her art into a wide range of merchandises that are used in every day’s life and where her exquisite patterns turn ordinary items into beautiful gifts to be given for loved ones on special occasions. This first collection focuses on home decoration items on the occasion of the Valentine Day so Modernform can offer joy and delight to customers on this special love-filled day.

 

Pomme Chan or Tachamapan Chanchamrassang, the world’s renowned illustrator, added that the Modernform x Pomme Chan marks the first collaboration between her and this furniture brand. “I have heard about Modernform since I was a kid. I am so excited to collaborate with the brand. I really look forward to seeing my work being displayed in Modernform showrooms. This first collection will feature very cute home decoration items,” she said.

 

“The Floral Collection: Love Blooms From Within” has been inspired by four flowers that represent four styles of femininity. According to Pomme, every woman shines her own uniqueness. Various kinds of flowers are transformed into delicate silhouettes and patterns that exude lightness and spaciousness yet fun and joy to add pleasure, relaxation and aliveness to everyone’s homes.

“I intend to launch this collection on the Valentine’s Day as a gift to myself. Although most people may think about buying a gift to their loved ones on this Valentine’s Day, self-care and loving oneself is a kind of love that is as precious as loving another person. The most important love is loving yourself. As soon as you can love everything in yourself, you will be able to love everything in others in totality as well,” she said.

 

The design in this collection started by Pomme hand-painting her imaginations on paper, which was then scanned and digitalized. When looking carefully, one will see soft twirling paint brushes as well as colors that represent the hand-painted art. This is the first time that Pomme Chan chooses cotton linen that conveys a warm and homey feeling for her artwork. The collection consists of five limited-edition home decoration items as follows.

 

Cushion Design

The Floral Collection Cushion Design features soft and gentle flower patterns that could well be paired with any sofa. The cushion is made of natural breathable cotton linen.

Plate Design

The Floral Collection Plate Design boasts painted flora in playful color hues that make a meal even more appealing. The plate itself is made of white porcelain formed through special techniques during the firing process to highlight its whiteness and to make it safe for cooking.

Tea Towels

The Floral Collection multi-purpose Tea Towel Design is endowed with colorful flowers that turns a towel into a decoration item or a nice everyday kitchen accessory.

Print Design
