Objectives and Strategies

Sustainability Strategy

Modernform drives its sustainability operations under a long-term strategic plan (SD & ESG Roadmap), which defines clear directions and targets to lead the organization toward sustainable growth and achieve the ultimate goal of being an industry leader in sustainability.

For the year 2025, the Company has entered the “Strategy-focused” phase, which elevates sustainability operations to be more intensive and produce more tangible results. We focus on integrating the sustainability strategy into our core business operations. The Company has defined the following key targets and driving projects for this year:

Key Sustainability Goals 2025

Environmental Dimension

  • Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Scope 1 & 2): Focus on maximizing the efficiency of clean energy from Solar Rooftop installations to maintain a renewable energy consumption ratio of at least 35% of total factory electricity usage, coupled with proactive energy conservation measures to reduce net GHG emissions.
  • Elevate Material Transparency: Aim to collect data on the source and recycled content of products in the Office Chair category, achieving at least 60% coverage.
  • Waste Management and Resource Efficiency:
  • Control the proportion of production waste to remain below 3% of total production volume.
  • Maintain the legal landfill rate for hazardous waste, with a safe landfill volume of 27.12 tons, which is considered a very low ratio compared to total production volume.

Social Dimension

  • Elevate well-being and the working environment through the Model Office project, emphasizing Biophilic Design and fully supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) according to the roadmap.
  • Focus on enhancing Digital Upskilling and ESG awareness through the “ESG DNA” curriculum for 100% of employees in core operational functions.

Governance & Economic Dimension

  • Elevate confidence in information security toward the international ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, to be completed within 2025 (aligned with the achievement on November 4, 2025).
  • Implement pilot projects for AI and Digital Transformation in at least 2 core operational processes to enhance Data-Driven Decision making.
  • Maintain an “Excellent” (5-star) CG Score (CGR) and elevate the SET ESG Rating to “AA.”

To achieve our established goals, Modernform has defined its commitment to “Designing Our Tomorrow” by initiating purposeful and measurable actions in 2025 through Key Strategic Drives that focus on the intensive integration of ESG dimensions into core business operations:

  • Carbon Footprint Management: Implementing energy reduction measures and concrete renewable energy planning. We utilize the CFO (certified by TGO) mark as a measurement mechanism to transition toward a Low-Carbon Business and prepare for the Net Zero target by
  • Sustainable Supply Chain Management: Enforcing Sustainable Procurement Policies and supplier assessment processes covering ESG criteria to enhance resilience and accountability throughout the entire value chain.
  • Employee Development & Retention: Launching the new PMS Transformation (Performance Management System) and implementing a systematic Leadership Transformation Program to evolve into a Learning Organization (Designing for Well-being).
  • Innovation for Sustainability: Introducing products that address well-being (ORBIX) and accelerating the Material Transparency project (60% Material Recycle Content). We also integrate digital technology and AI through the Power D Project to enhance decision-making efficiency, alongside establishing an AI Security Policy to systematically manage risks related to Biometric Data (Designing for Progress & Resilience).

The strategies and targets for 2025 represent the Company’s pledge to “Designing Our Tomorrow,” which begins with taking directed and measurable actions today to create sustainable growth for the organization, society, and the environment.

Performance Notes

[1] GHG Emissions: Temporary increase due to production base consolidation and the transfer of 19 delivery vehicles to Bang Phli. The Company has piloted the SET Carbon system for more precise management.

[2] Water Usage: Increased due to the consolidation at Bang Phli and an 18% increase in personnel. The Company is studying water recycling systems to reduce intensity.
