Project to provide segregated waste bins for schools in Suan Luang District
The Company, in collaboration with Aeon Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited and ACS Services (Thailand) Company Limited, initiated a program aimed at facilitating the implementation of segregated trash bins in schools within the Suan Luang District of Bangkok. This initiative, known as the “Segregated Trash Bins Support Project,” endeavors to enhance waste reduction and separation efforts, thereby promoting proper waste management practices. The program aims to cultivate a habit of waste reduction and segregation right from the outset, encouraging individuals to sort different types of waste before disposal. By facilitating easy separation of waste before disposal or repurposing, starting with waste management initiatives in schools and extending to households, it contributes to reducing waste issues within communities. This effort helps foster environmental awareness among youth, nurturing a mindset geared towards preserving the environment for the sake of building a sustainable society. This initiative aligns with the government’s directives promoting the circular economy and echoes Bangkok’s “All or Nothing: Segregate!” campaign. It advocates for waste to be systematically organized and separated to maximize its benefits.
