Ms. Varunee Thonglongya, Assistant Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications, stated that achieving the ‘AA’ rating this year is a testament to Modernform’s commitment to integrating the ESG framework into its core Business Value Chain. The company has demonstrated measurable progress across three key dimensions:

  1. Environmental Dimension (Green)

Modernform is rigorously laying the groundwork for greenhouse gas management. The company has achieved certification for the ISO 14064-1: 2018 standard and received the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CFO) label from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization). This mechanism is crucial for accurately planning carbon emission reductions. Operationally, the company has installed a 1.29 MW Solar Rooftop system to utilize clean energy. Furthermore, it actively drives its Circular Economy policy through product innovation, such as the SYM Table made from 100% recycled plastic (PCR), which is fully recyclable. Logistics management practices are also in place to minimize transportation-related pollution.

  1. Social Dimension (People)

Recognizing that "People" are central to growth, the company has intensified its focus on human rights by implementing comprehensive Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) and promoting a policy of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). A key highlight for 2025 is the accelerated Reskill & Upskill initiative for employees, aiming to dramatically increase average training hours from 8 hours/person/year to 20 hours/person/year. This is coupled with robust occupational health and safety practices and the development of products under the Inclusive Design concept, ensuring equal accessibility for all user groups.

  1. Governance and Economic Dimension (Trust)

Modernform maintains the highest business ethics, evidenced by consistently receiving a 5-star (Excellent) CGR rating and being certified as a member of the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC). This reflects the company's commitment to transparent, corruption-free operations. The company is further instilling an ethical DNA among all employees to foster a strong corporate culture.

"The upgrade to the ‘AA’ level serves as a progress indicator for Modernform's operations, highlighting our focus on managing risks while establishing operational efficiency to meet international standards," Ms. Varunee concluded. "The company is prepared to move forward by transforming environmental and social challenges into opportunities for innovation and economic growth, ultimately delivering sustainable value to both society and our shareholders."
