Pollution Prevention and Air & Noise Quality Management

Commitment and Goals

Modernform places the highest priority on managing air and noise quality resulting from production processes. This is an integral part of our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policy under the ISO 45001 international standard and strict legal requirements. Our goal is to maintain a safe working environment that does not impact the health of our employees or the surrounding communities. Furthermore, the Company is committed to elevating its operational standards beyond the minimum legal requirements, with the following quantitative targets:

Targets by 2026

• Noise Control: Maintain average noise levels in operational areas below 85 dB(A) (stricter than the legal limit of 90 dB(A)).
• Air Quality: Control air pollution and particulate matter concentrations to be 10% better than standard criteria.
• Heat Management: Manage heat in production areas to not exceed 5°C (lower than the legal limit of 32°C).

Pollution Control Policy and Guidelines

The Company adheres to its Environmental Policy, specifically the commitment to “Protect, Prevent, and Control Pollution” (as stated in Measure No. 2 of the Environmental Management Policy). We apply ISO 45001 principles to manage OHS in every unit.

Operational Guidelines

The Company has established a rigorous and systematic air and noise management approach as follows:

1. Monitoring and Measurement: Defined an annual environmental monitoring plan covering key variables such as light, noise, heat, chemicals, and dust, using international standard tools and certified external agencies.
2. Proactive Pollution Management: Elevated heat and air pollution management through engineering measures and source control, such as managing ventilation stacks and selecting raw materials with Low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
3. Preventive Action: Established clear inspection and corrective processes. If any measurement trends toward the Company’s defined limits, immediate action is taken to prevent environmental impacts.

Performance Results

In 2025, the Company successfully maintained all air and noise quality standards and received zero environmental complaints from the community.
