Modernform’s Three Products Receive Six Global Design Awards

Modernform Group Plc, which strives to innovate furniture and lifestyle items that answer to new living experiences of today’s generation, wins six world-class design awards from five international design institutes in its ongoing mission to create furniture that brings happiness to every day’s living. The six awards bestowed to three Modernform products of M.ANY, W.HOLE and MILLION are the GOOD DESIGN Award from USA; the GOLDEN PIN DESIGN Award from Taiwan; the SKY DESIGN Award from Japan; the DNA PARIS DESIGN Award from France; and the EUROPEAN PRODUCT DESIGN Award from Hungary.

M.ANY has been crafted with a sustainable design concept in mind. The furniture is made of quality materials and all parts respond to both indoor and semi-door use. M.ANY is a multi-purpose table, which functions as someone who is ready to be by your side any time any place. Light weight and easy to move around thanks to its space-saving character, M.ANY is an answer to the Next Normal lifestyle where we need social distancing but at the same time yearn from something relaxed, familiar and warm to our heart.

M.ANY has been bestowed three awards as follows:

• The GOOD DESIGN Awards for Furniture Design by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd, USA;
• The Golden Pin Design Awards for Product Design by Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), Taiwan; and
• Shortlist in Industrial Design by SKY Design Awards, Japan.

M.ANY was also selected to showcase at the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Chicago Athenaeum Exhibition and was kept at its Design Museum at the end of the exhibition. The product was also published in globaldesignnews.com, which is the museum’s online magazine launched in 2021 with members in 48 countries around the world under the topic of Awards, Design, Furniture, Product.

W.HOLE

W.HOLE is a multi-purpose desk designed from the linkage between relationship and shared experiences among people, digital equipment, furniture and space,  which co-exist and will co-exist anywhere under current and future lifestyles. W.HOLE offers an opportunity for users to adapt its versatility, shape and aesthetics to reflect the user’s needs, taste and moods which can be varied depending on time and space.  Based on a sustainable design concept, W.HOLE takes into consideration sustainable materials and a production process that is just enough for making the furniture. The outcome is compact, light and mobile furniture that can be used indoor and outdoor environment for relaxation and work, which truly responds to today’s lifestyles.

W.HOLE receives the following two awards:

• The GOOD DESIGN Awards for Furniture Design by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd, USA.  
• The DNA PARIS DESIGN Awards for Product Design / Furniture and Lighting, France.

MILLION
