Modernform Joins Hands with The Moon : Crypto & NFT Café

Thailand’s leading furniture maker Modernform is entering the Metaverse by offering NFT (Non-Fungible Token) support through collaboration with The Moon : Crypto & NFT Café, a Crypto community café located at Seacon Square, and partners from the digital world, to organize “The Art of Individualism : Ultra Rare NFT Furniture Collection” where eight creators from various circles showcase their physical furniture items and their NFT limited items in the Metaverse Thailand’s virtual gallery.

Mr. Kitipat Nerngchamnong, CEO and President of Modernform Group Plc, said that Modernform had spotted lifestyle changes. “We are particularly interested in Metaverse’s role in people’s ways of living and the tremendous growth of Thailand’s NFT market.”

Driven by this interest in NFT, Modernform is joining hands with The Moon and JFIN to nurture a like-mind community and to organize the Art of Individualism event presented through the perspectives of new generation of creators. “We are here to help with the communication and sponsoring of artists to actually produce the one-of-a-kind furniture,” Mr. Kitipat said.

Each piece in this project is made by Modernform’s team where Modernform’s expertise is combined with creativity of all artists. In addition, a prototype is produced and tested first before the actual production starts to ensure that the final product meets Modernform’s quality and production standards and that it can actually be used, ergonomic and safe for user’s wellbeing, Mr. Kitipat said. “Our bottom line is that the furniture must simultaneously respond to both design and function demands.”

According to Mr. Kitipat, Modernform is focusing on a design community from the strategic point of view. “We have various design products that have received global awards. That’s why we are looking for new marketing channels to expand our exposure. We are ready to support designers, artists and creators producing either physical or digital art. “For NFT in particular, Modernform wishes to turn what each designer envisions into something tangible so that we can bridge virtual and physical worlds seamlessly,” Mr. Kitipat underlined.

Meanwhile, Mr. Pongsatorn Chandavimol, Executive of Seacon Development Plc and Founder of The Moon : Crypto & NFT Café, a home for the Cryptonian community located in the MUNx2 Zone of Seacon Square Srinakarin Shopping Mall on Srinakarin Road, stated that The Moon : NFT & Crypto Café is indeed a community of both Cryptonians and NFT creators.

“We connect the digital world with the physical world. Our café is a place for the like-mind and we have lots of partners within the group,” Mr. Pongsatorn said. “As soon as we know that Modernform is interested in doing something about NFT Furniture, we just dive into the project.” According to Mr. Pongsatorn, eight artists who collaborate in this project are all in the forefront. Roughly speaking, they come from these three groups: influencer, NFT artist and well-known artist.

Mr. Woraphot Tharasiriskul, Chief Technology Officer of J Venture Co Ltd (JVC) and developer of JNFT Marketplace, Thailand’s NFT platform, added that “The Art of Individualism project helps creating NFT’s first phenomena in various aspects. It’s the first time that online artists gather and showcase their work offline. It’s the first time that their NFT pieces are transformed into real physical furniture. It’s the first time that the virtual NFT market is expanded beyond its virtual boundary. This collaboration therefore is a historic moment for Thailand’s NFT market. It adds excitement to the art world. What’s more important is we believe that NFT pieces created by collaborating artists in this project will see their values gradually increase,” Mr. Woraphot affirmed.

Mr. Parin Sathianpagilanagorn, managing director of Multitechnology Expert Co Ltd and co-founder of Metaverse Thailand, added that Metaverse Thailand acts as a platform to enable artists and creators to exhibit their art to the public while interacting with users. “We really believe in the concept of digital twin to create a seamless connection, which is the trend of tomorrow’s world. That’s why our participation in The Art of Individualism is a great opportunity for us to help moving these two worlds one step closer,” Mr. Parin said.

Mr. Chewin Sirisak, CEO of Metaverse Value Creator and Co-Founder of ERECTRUS, added that in the project, his company helps creating the virtual world in Metaverse Thailand. “This ranges from doing the planning, creating 3-D furniture files and connecting with JNFT to ensure the most user-friendly interactive bidding.”

The Art of Individualism NFT Collection features art pieces from eight creators/artists from various industries. They are Khun Surabot “Pleum” Leekpai, owner of Cryptoronin Game; Khun Veerachai “Duang” Duangpla of Gangster All Star; Dojo Namwong; Khun Phrchy “Ack” Fuxiisackqiizd (Fxaq27); Khun  Chumpol “Turbo” Wongmatikul, owner of the BitToon Page; Khun Taweesak “Lolay” Srithongdee; Khun Jackkrit “Nua” Anantakul; and, finally, Khun Kiatanan “Line” Lamchan (Line Censor). There are art pieces of our partners as well. All pieces will be the one and only piece both in terms of NFT and real furniture. The project aims to connect both physical and virtual worlds to respond to new generation’s lifestyle and to nurture the NFT community in Thailand.
