Modernform Group Helps Mobilizing Blood Donation for the Thai Red Cross Society

Modernform Group Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leading furniture business, is collaborating with the National Blood Center, the Thai Red Cross Society, to continue campaigning the “Modernform Blood Donation” project where staff and neighboring communities are encouraged to “give” their blood. The project aims to mobilize blood donation from first-time and regular donors to maintain the Thai Red Cross’s blood reserves for patients and hospitals in need nationwide.

Mr. Kitipat Nerngchamnong, Modernform Group Plc’s CEO and President, underlines Modernform’s goal to do its business and contribute to the society’s wellbeing. “This is the reason why we first initiated this blood donation project with the National Blood Center, the Thai Red Cross Society. We want to widen the blood bank’s channels where people can reach out to donate blood. This results in us supporting this activity to enhance quality of life as well as happiness and wellbeing of the society at large,” he said.

In 2022, about 300,000 cc of blood donated by executives and staff of Modernform Group and its affiliated companies as well as from the general public were gathered from mobile blood donation units for the Thai Red Cross.
